This is new work from one of my favorite painters. It made me think…I’ve noticed that there are a few trends happening in “painting” today. Just scroll through some of art blogs (not just the ones that re-post gallery shows) and you’ll notice that some works are starting to look the same. Matthew Fisher is not one of them. Artists and art bloggers should take note.
